Microsoft Office 365 has been around for a few years and it is likely that you will have heard the name, but what is it exactly? Office 365 is a subscription based cloud service comprising of several Microsoft business products. These can be purchased individually or in bundles depending on your requirements. Here are some of them:-
Access, Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Word
Traditionally, Office applications were purchased with a computer; if the computer failed and needed to be replaced, a new copy of Office was required.
With Office Pro Plus via office 365, the license isn’t bound to the computer so when a computer is replaced, the licence is simply transferred; in addition licensing Office applications using Office 365 allows you to install on up to 5 computers, either PC or Mac.
The subscription licensing model also entitles you to the most recent version of the software.
This allows all users to be running the same version, removing the headaches caused by managing and administering multiple versions of the same product, and allowing users to take advantage of new features.
